a breath

To the wonderfulness of God, bow.

To the holiness of God, allow

It to permeate you,

Change, shape, mold all you do

As an astronauts suit

Let God’s holiness be.

You cannot escape this atmosphere.

He is all you need.

To do what God has asked

Of you is one small requirement

You be after his heart continually.

These things God asks of you

Are not permanent,

Neither is this truth

Of what your time in this atmosphere brings.

You, a short time, a breath

It seems in eternity’s eye

You, your span, a blink.

Let not trouble here

Make you think

All there is

Is one blink to you.

Eternity’s child, everlasting, choose.
